Ambassador: Ambassadors are the hospitality arm of the chamber. They help to welcome new members at chamber activities. Ambassadors also assist at chamber events.

Meeting Time: Meets bi-monthly 4th Thursday of the month either 8:00 a.m. or 12:00 noon
Auction: Plans and organizes the chambers "An Evening of Elegance" Auction.
The Auction includes live & silent items, dinner and dancing. The largest fundraiser held bi-annually in November. The committee works in conjunction with the Ambassadors to secure donations and promote the event. A portion of the proceeds benefits the chamber's Alice C. McPadden Scholarship.

Economic Development: Assists in promoting growth, improving business climate, retaining industrial, commercial and retail business in the county.

Golf: Plans and organizes the Chamber Annual Golf Tournament which continues to be a sell out. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Alice C. McPadden Scholarship.

Legislative: Helps to keep the membership informed of legislative issues locally and at the state level.

Programs: Plans and organizes educational programs and seminars on behalf of the membership.

Scholarship: The Tolland County Chamber of Commerce awards two $2000 scholarships to individuals annually (one to a student, one to a business person for continuing education) who meet the criteria set forth by the committee. Applicants must be an immediate family member of a chamber member. Applications are mailed to member businesses and are available on our website. Scholarships are presented at the June Board of Directors Meeting. Deadline is the first Friday in May.
