Creative Acrylics Class
Instructor: Christine Sniadach
Acrylics is a fun medium that can be used to create a variety of paintings. It dries quickly and colors can be layered, and it provides easy cleanup.
In this one-night class, you will learn how to paint loose abstract flowers and leaves in a vase. We will paint a colorful vase of flowers in the pastel color group. You will learn how to layer paints to achieve a variety of colors in your composition and how to highlight with colors to achieve a cohesive composition. The completed painting will make a beautiful piece to display in your home or gift to family or friends.
This is a beyond basics course. Some experience with acrylics is recommended. Basic drawing skills are suggested, but a template for painting will be provided. If you’ve tried a paint night before, this is the next step up!
All materials are included, but we suggest bringing a painting apron or a large shirt to wear.
Christine Sniadach has experience in several mediums, concentrating in watercolor, acrylics, pen & ink, and water soluble oils. A former IT Manager, she has taken many classes with both local and Master artists.
