Open to water-based media such as: Acrylic, Gouache, Watercolor, and Ink 

In this online open aqueous media Portrait painting class, you will be working from life and your reference material you have taken.
 
Assignments will be from life, such as painting a self-portrait and a portrait of a family member or friend. Painting will be done from your reference material with emphasis on the portrait and the composition. The first assignment will be of an aqueous portrait master copy of your choice. You will learn about artistic anatomical structure, additional formal elements of image making, application of the paint, and the materiality of aqueous media
