    [VERNON, CT, June 7—] Kahan Kerensky Capossela, LLP, a law firm with offices in Vernon and Storrs, Connecticut, has hired Attorney Joseph P. Mortelliti as an Associate. He will practice in the Real Estate, Litigation, and Land Use Departments. Attorney Mortelliti attended law school at the University of Connecticut School of Law and received his undergraduate degree in History from College of the Holy Cross.  “We are very excited to welcome Joe to the Kahan Kerensky Capossela team”, notes Attorney Michael Kopsick, a Partner with the firm. “He’s a great fit, and his previous work at both a land use law firm and title guaranty company, as well as his research skills, will be a valuable resource to our clients.”

    Attorney Mortelliti served as an Articles Editor for the Connecticut Law Review. His published student note, Whose Standards Control? Maine v. McCarthy and the Federal, State, and Tribal Battle Over Water Quality Regulation, has been added to the National Indian Law Library. Joe is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Planning and Zoning Section and Real Property Section.
